1923
Creation of OLLIER Company
Alfred OLLIER, specialist fabricator, creates his company in Lyon, Baraban street.
1963
Birth of Installux brand
Robert OLLIER takes the lead of the company and launches the aluminium activity under the Installux brand.
1987
Christian CANTY nominated CEO
Robert OLLIER did a R.E.S operation and Christian CANTY has been nominated Chief Executive Oficer.
1991
TIASO joins the Group
TIASO, expert in demountable aluminium partition wall, is bought by the group.
1992
Integration of Stores Roche
Pioneer in solar protection solutions, Stores Roche has joined the group to reinforce its position in the Building second field market.
1997
Installux Gulf creation
The international development of the group is confirmed with the creation of its Middle East subsidiary based in Bahrain.
1999
Côté Baies® creation
Installux Aluminium creates its own customer network.
2001
SOFADI’s integration
Sofadi, expert in tertiary interior-fitting, joins the group.
2003
First vertical integration
The group increases its industrial capacity buying France Alu Color, a company specialised in specific aluminium powder coating processes.
2007
FAC’s ambitions are confirmed
Plant’s expansion with implementation of a new generation of vertical coating line. Creation of a dedicated storage zone for logistics.
2010
Second Vertical Integration
Creation of IES (Installux Extrusión Services), located in Barcelona.
2014
Plant acquisition in Parets
Acquisition of a second production plant based in Parets del Vallès (Spain).
2018
Christophe Canty nominated General Director
After 30 years of continues effort and dedication, Christian Canty gives the relay to his son, Christophe Canty. Christophe is named as the General Director and will be supported by Sylvain Charretier as the Chief Operating Officer.
2019
Acquisition of a new aluminium extrusion press.
Installux Extrusion Services increases its production capacity.
2020
Acquisition of the Santa Oliva factory
Installux Extrusion Services continues its development with the acquisition of the Santa Oliva industrial site. The Santa Perpetua based production unit is relocated and the press is installed at the new site directly linked to the vertical lacquering line. The new site is also equipped with a complete finishing unit with crimping, assembly and machining lines for aluminium profiles.
2022
Integration of Mecanalu
Mécanalu is a company specialised in the design, manufacture and distribution of aluminium framed modular partitions.
